This report from the Care Quality Commission describes findings from the inspections of care homes relating to nutrition and dignity in 2012.

It describes common characteristics and practices in homes where people's needs were being met and makes recommendations to improve care elsewhere. The aim is to help providers, commissioners and other stakeholders to improve the safety of care that they are responsible for and deliver a culture in care homes that puts people first.
